Founded by a small group of farmers in 1905, our co-op collects 60.000 liters of milk per day. The dairy of Pamplie is located in Poitou-Charentes, in the heart of the county of Deux Sèvres, in Gatîne.

This region is famous for the quality of its milk production and for it’s A.O.C. Charentes-Poitou.

In order to meet all the sanitary requirements and to maintain an impeccable quality in the production, Pamplie butter is produced in a factory opened since 1996.

In a range of 30 km around the dairy, our dairy farmers supply the Pamplie dairy co-op with a milk subject to a permanent sanitary control. This milk meets the expectations of consumers while adhering to a quality chart based on « the use of hay harvested in farms with traditional methods ». This proximity with cattle farmers insures a fast harvest, which in turns accelerates the crafting of Pamplie products.

About 10 people combines daily a handcrafted production with more modern methods meeting the european norms in effect.
